Safaricom PLC is a listed Kenyan mobile network operator. It is the largest telecommunications provider in Kenya. The company offers mobile telephony, mobile money transfer, consumer electronics, ecommerce, cloud computing, data, music streaming, and fibre optic services. It is most renowned as the home of MPESA, a mobile banking SMS-based service.
Executive Summary
Safaricom ran a 10-week promotional campaign: Shukrani Kochokocho Kenya Nzima.
To qualify for the promotion, users were to top up with Kshs. 20/- or more or use MPESA to make payments.
We used external bus branding and seat covers to advertise and maintain awareness of the ongoing campaign. The same was used to encourage the use the Safaricom Network.
